|Evacuation isn't good after all..

Well yesterday we were evacuated from our lovely Lanyon Place office. We had been watching the police direct traffic and people away from three sides of the building for about half an hour before being told that if we felt we needed to go home and we had flexi we could.. queue stampede.. there was a bomb scare between us and Central Station, so no usual train home for me.. also someone got hit by a train futher up towards Lisburn so the entire line was closed anyway..|
Got a lift with my boss and a colleague and joined the obscene traffic in May Street, it took us over an hour to get past the City Hall. Another hour to get to the West Link, but by then it was closed off which was proabably a good thing as I heard from a fella in work today that he was stuck on a bus on the West Link with a gang streaming out of the Village and bricking the traffic, they only got hit once but I think it freaked him out and hes only just moved back up here from the south after 10 years.. oops.. Another 30/40 minutes to the top of the Grosvenor Road and we abandonned the car in favour of the Bee Hive, then the Hunting Lodge. As I was leaving the Hunting Lodge, about 6 wrecked cop jeeps flew past trailing sparks.. apparently they were going mental in Blacks Road..
